Description
The City of Davenport is soliciting bids for the Freight House Tuckpointing project. The work includes grinding and repointing mortar joints; removing and replacing damaged interior and exterior masonry units; removing, painting, and reinstalling an existing box light fixture; installing a retaining wall and extending the outdoor patio slab; replacing fencing with guardrail; relocating electrical equipment; and removing and reinstalling miscellaneous exterior light fixtures. Bids must be submitted through the City of Davenport e-bidding system; email, fax, paper copies, and other submission methods are not accepted. The solicitation requires a current certificate of insurance, completed Bidder Status Form, completed DBE Subcontractor Contact Forms with supporting good-faith-effort documentation or an explanation that no subcontracting is necessary, and a bid bond equal to 5% of the bid amount if the bid exceeds $100,000. The awarded contractor must provide 100% performance and payment bonds and a four-year maintenance bond. All work must be completed by May 1, 2027, unless modified by change order.
