The Municipality of Anchorage, through Anchorage Public Library, is soliciting exterior cleaning services for Mountain View Library. The scope includes weekly power washing of sidewalks, outside walls, and concrete structures from May 15 through October 15 and as weather permits throughout the year when temperatures exceed 40 degrees; daily Tuesday-through-Saturday pickup and disposal of debris, garbage, trash, and refuse from the library perimeter and grounds; and on-call cleanup of fecal material, urine, discarded needles, and other potentially hazardous or contaminated materials. On-call requests must be answered within two hours of the Municipality's request and will occur during library hours, Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The contractor must provide all cleaning materials, environmentally friendly cleaning products, transportation, off-site waste disposal, PPE, training, certifications, and required immunizations. No onsite dumpsters are available, and no ladders or elevated-access equipment are required. Estimated quantities are 22 weeks of weekly exterior cleaning, 52 weeks of daily grounds pickup, and 104 on-call cleanups, although quantities are not guaranteed and on-call services are performed only when requested. The period of performance is January 4, 2027, through January 3, 2028, with two additional one-year renewal options upon mutual consent and lawful appropriation of funds. Award will be based on the lowest responsive and responsible aggregate bid, and all items must be bid.
