Description
Lowndes County Board of Supervisors is soliciting sealed bids for construction of Part 2: Cinco Water System Extension, a water system extension to the Cinco Mega Site in Lowndes County, Mississippi. The contractor must furnish all required labor, plant, equipment, and materials. The contract period is 360 consecutive calendar days from the effective date in the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi law and provide a current Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors. The proposal must include a qualifications statement covering similar projects, references with names and telephone numbers, and key personnel. A bid bond or certified check equal to 5% of the bid is required. The successful bidder must provide payment and performance bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract amount, and comply with Davis-Bacon prevailing-wage requirements and the Build America, Buy America Act.
