Description
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services seeks a qualified and certified contractor to provide comprehensive preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance for the Bronson Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory's HVAC, boilers, hot water, walk-in cooler, exhaust fans, pumps, chillers, air-handling units, and Distech building automation systems. The scope includes labor, materials, tools, travel, consumables, equipment, system testing, cleaning, calibration, adjustments, component repairs and replacements, service reporting, and installation and disposal of department-provided air filters. The contractor must provide 24/7/365 emergency service, respond onsite within 48 hours for routine requests and within two hours for emergency requests, and maintain technicians qualified for the listed equipment and building automation system. The initial contract term is three years, with up to three one-year renewal periods. Bidders must attend the mandatory site visit, provide three recent similar-project references, submit required licenses and certifications, and complete the specified bid forms and price sheet. The award will be based on the lowest total annual price for the initial contract term. Insurance is required, including general liability, automobile liability, and workers' compensation coverage.
