Description
The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District is soliciting experienced contractors to provide installation, maintenance, repair, testing, commissioning, replacement, and emergency response services for commercial and industrial centrifugal chillers ranging from 1,000 to 2,200 tons, including York, Carrier, or SMARDT units rated at 2,000 tons or more. The three-year continuing contract will cover at least 26 chillers at five district locations, with up to three contracts potentially awarded and a two-year optional renewal. The scope includes mechanical, electrical, controls, refrigerant, oil-system, compressor, motor, tube, heat-exchanger, VFD, rigging, teardown, reassembly, startup, and complete chiller replacement work. Contractors must provide 24/7 emergency response with a qualified technician on site within two hours, non-emergency mobilization within 24 hours, a 24-hour hotline, qualified personnel, OEM certifications or factory training, a Florida General Mechanical or Class A Air-Conditioning Contractor license, EPA Section 608 Universal Technician certifications, documented quality control, and applicable project safety planning. Proposals are limited to five pages, excluding resumes, a cover letter of up to two pages, and required forms and attachments.
