Description
Lake County is soliciting qualified Florida-licensed professional engineering firms to provide on-call, task-order-based services for County-owned bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other transportation structures. The scope includes structural inspections, evaluations, load ratings, rehabilitation and replacement design, engineering reports, plans, specifications, cost estimates, permitting, hydraulic and geotechnical evaluations, surveying, traffic-control design, construction administration, asset management, resiliency analysis, and related technical support. The consultant must support emergency structural response, including telephone response within two hours, field response within eight hours, and a preliminary report within 24 hours, with 24/7 availability. The solicitation requires a qualifications package containing the County forms and certifications, team composition and similar-project information, proposed approach and staffing, licenses, financial stability information, litigation history, and supporting documentation. The initial contract term is one year, with two optional two-year renewals, and the County may make multiple awards.
