Description
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board is accepting bids for the rights to file transfer applications for certain expired restaurant liquor licenses under Invitation for Bids #260381. Licenses purchased through this auction cannot be transferred outside their originating counties, although transfers within the same county may be permitted. Selected bidders may take up to six months after the Notice of Selection to file the transfer application, and the application process generally takes two to four months or longer. Each bid must include a completed and signed Attachment B Bid Sheet and a certified or cashier’s check for $5,000 or 5% of the total bid amount, whichever is greater, payable to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. Bids must be mailed by October 5, 2026, at 12:00 PM ET. An addendum dated August 31, 2026, confirms these submission requirements and answers bidder questions.
