Description
Palo Pinto Water Supply Corporation is soliciting bids for completion of partially constructed CID 04 waterline improvements. The base work includes approximately 7,450 linear feet of 3-inch SDR-21 PVC waterline, 3-inch DR-11 HDPE directional-bore waterline, casing and encasement, low-water crossings, valves, air-release and flush valves, service reconnections, pavement repairs, traffic control, testing, disinfection, and related appurtenances. The project also includes additive alternates for additional waterline and directional-bore work, a directional-bore plan, and SCADA improvements at the City elevated storage tank site. The contract has a 120-consecutive-calendar-day completion period beginning on a date specified in the Notice to Proceed, with liquidated damages of $500 per calendar day for late completion. Bidders must submit the completed bid proposal and schedule, 5% bid security, bidder qualifications with required project information and resumes, guidance-document certification, and a notarized non-collusion affidavit. The project is funded through the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and is subject to Davis-Bacon prevailing wages, Build America, Buy America requirements, and related federal and state compliance provisions. Performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract price, and insurance are required after award.
