Description
Union County is seeking a qualified architectural and engineering consulting firm to support planning, design, environmental review, grant assistance, bidding, construction management, inspection, testing, surveying, permitting, contract documentation, and related services for airport improvement projects at La Grande/Union County Airport. The work will be performed through separate project work orders associated with anticipated Federal Aviation Administration grant projects, including planned taxiway reconstruction, rehabilitation, paved-shoulder, environmental, design, and construction phases. The consultant must support the County and Airport Manager with civil engineering, airport planning, FAA processes, agency coordination, detailed designs and specifications, construction administration, contractor coordination, progress reviews, change orders, record drawings, and final inspections over a period of up to five years. Qualifications responses will be evaluated on comparable airport experience, personnel and team qualifications, FAA grant-program experience, workload and schedule capacity, quality and cost control, understanding of local conditions, outside-consultant qualifications, and good-faith efforts toward the County’s 4.67% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goal. Cost or pricing information must not be included in the qualifications submission.
