Description
The Oregon Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for two construction projects: curve-warning upgrades on various highways in Northwest Oregon, classified as signing work; and pedestrian-crossing enhancements on the Oregon Coast Highway near Tillamook and Lincoln Beach. The second project may be performed under the miscellaneous highway appurtenances class or a combination of two listed classes: earthwork and drainage, aggregate bases, and electrical. Bidders must meet ODOT prequalification requirements in the applicable classes of work and perform at least 30 percent of the awarded contract amount with their own organization. Projects include steel-escalation and minimum-wage requirements, and federally funded projects are subject to Buy America requirements.
