Description
New Mexico State University seeks multiple qualified contractors to provide on-call commercial HVAC and plumbing maintenance and repair services for its Facilities & Services operations. Work is assigned as needed, with no guaranteed minimum volume or contract value. HVAC work includes diagnostics and repairs, servicing chillers, boilers, cooling towers, air-handling units and building controls, component replacement, refrigerant management, and coil and drain-line cleaning. Plumbing work includes hydro-jetting drains, repairing or replacing water heaters and fixtures, gas-piping inspection and repair, backflow-device testing and repair, and leak detection and repair. Contractors must maintain the applicable New Mexico mechanical and journeyman credentials and EPA Section 608 certifications, comply with applicable codes and permitting requirements, and meet response windows of two hours for Priority 1 emergencies, four hours for Priority 2 urgent issues, and 24–48 hours for Priority 3 routine calls. Proposals are evaluated on qualifications and licensing, relevant experience and past performance, response capability, staffing and resources, and pricing. Required proposal materials include the specified licenses and certifications, proof of insurance, business registration and good standing, and responses addressing the evaluation criteria.
