Description
New Mexico State University seeks a consultant to assess and redesign classification and compensation for covered full-time staff; faculty and other employee groups are excluded unless specifically included by the University. The work includes analyzing internal equity and external market competitiveness, developing job families and career levels, salary grades and ranges, compensation policies, and costed implementation scenarios. The consultant will also provide project management, stakeholder communication and change-management support, implementation planning, and recommendations for ongoing administration and periodic market review. Required deliverables include an executive summary, compensation philosophy and market-positioning strategy, job architecture and classification crosswalk, market and internal-equity analyses, employee-level and aggregate costing, phased implementation plan, salary-administration and governance recommendations, communication materials, training and knowledge-transfer materials, and editable analytical tools. Proposals are evaluated on experience and staff qualifications, methodology, implementation approach, communication, sustainability and governance, and cost.
