CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA NOTICE TO BIDDERS Indian River Press Journal Date Advertised: Friday, September 25, 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Sebastian is accepting bids for 27-01-ITB, SERVER ROOM MODIFICATIONS AND NEW HVAC SYSTEM INSTALLATION. The solicitation document outlining the scope of services is available from the City of Sebastians Euna eProcurement Portal. A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 10:00 am local time in the City Council Chambers located at 1225 Main Street, Sebastian, FL 32958. Questions are due on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 2:00 pm local time. All questions shall be directed to the City of Sebastians Euna Procurement Portal. Description
The City of Sebastian is soliciting sealed competitive bids from qualified contractors to provide all labor and materials for server room modifications and installation of a complete, operational HVAC system in accordance with engineered drawings. The work includes HVAC equipment furnishing and installation, startup, testing, balancing, commissioning, controls integration, electrical modifications, removal and disposal of existing HVAC equipment, server room penetrations and related construction, debris removal, and an extended-warranty alternate. The contractor must coordinate closely with the City's Management Information Systems and Fire Marshal personnel to protect critical technology, fire-suppression systems, and server-room operations. Bidders must hold the required Florida air-conditioning contractor license, provide EPA-certified technicians for refrigerant work, identify subcontractors, submit comparable HVAC project references, and comply with CJIS access requirements. The successful contractor must complete substantial completion within 60 calendar days and final completion within 90 calendar days after the full Notice to Proceed. A 5% bid bond is required with the bid; payment and performance bonding is required after award. The bid package must include the required forms, bid price sheet, CJIS acknowledgment, licenses and certifications, HVAC unit information, and anticipated schedule.
