Description
The City of Victorville is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified civil engineering consulting firms to supplement its in-house Engineering Department and support its Capital Improvement Program. The City intends to establish agreements with up to three firms for as-needed, task-order professional services. Potential assignments include roadway, sidewalk, curb, gutter, ADA, drainage, storm drain, sewer, water, traffic signal, street lighting, signing, striping, bikeway, pedestrian, grading, earthwork, retaining wall, utility coordination, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, floodplain, detention and retention, culvert, channel, low-impact development, stormwater, structural and electrical engineering, constructability review, and cost estimating services. Consultants must have at least five years of experience providing professional civil engineering services for public-agency capital improvement projects in California. The initial agreement term is one year, with up to three additional one-year extensions. Compensation is anticipated not to exceed $125,000 per year per consultant, or $500,000 over four years if all extensions are exercised; no minimum work or compensation is guaranteed.
