Description
The Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit District seeks a software-as-a-service platform for managing and reporting Federal Railroad Administration regulatory compliance involving locomotive and equipment inspections, track and switch inspections, wayside signals and grade-crossing warning devices, trouble tickets, and grade-crossing credible reports. The platform must support user access controls, regulatory reporting, data backup and restoration, single sign-on, on-demand data export, audit-log retention, disaster recovery, and 99.9% monthly uptime. The selected provider will configure and customize the platform, upload initial assets, provide implementation and train-the-trainer services, host the system, provide weekday help-desk support, perform updates and security patches, and provide ongoing technical and advisory support. The proposal must address the software platform, implementation approach and timeline, training, key personnel, prior experience including three similar implementations completed within the past three years, and pricing for implementation, three years of licensing, hosting and help-desk support, and additional technical support.
