Description
The Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing is soliciting proposals from qualified organizations to administer the state's School Health Services program. The contractor will support public schools, BOCES, and state K-12 institutions participating in Medicaid reimbursement for student health services. The scope includes developing and maintaining online cost-reporting, quarterly financial-reporting, and random-moment time-study systems; administering cost reports, interim rates, Medicaid Administrative Claiming, cost reconciliations, eligibility matching, and audits; operating RMTS and cost-report help desks; conducting statewide and online training; producing manuals, newsletters, reports, outreach materials, and work plans; hosting stakeholder meetings; and providing additional Medicaid policy and program consulting. The pricing worksheet identifies a maximum initial start-up amount of $200,000, while the solicitation states a maximum total contract amount of $6,891,068.00. The anticipated start-up period begins March 1, 2027, with operations anticipated to begin July 1, 2027, and the total contract duration not anticipated to exceed five years.
