Description
El Paso County Department of Public Works is establishing contracts with multiple qualified vendors to provide traffic control and work zone safety products on an as-needed basis. Requested products include traffic cones, barricades, temporary fencing, delineators, temporary and roll-up signs, pavement markers, radar and solar speed signs, sign stands and mounting hardware, and related components. Products must meet applicable federal, state, and local standards, including the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Proposals must describe product specifications and compatibility, manufacturer and model information, warehouse location and capacity, availability and back-order procedures, delivery timeframes to the Colorado Springs area, and pricing. The County anticipates a one-year initial contract with four one-year renewal options and no guaranteed minimum purchase quantities. Multiple vendors may be awarded contracts.
