Description
Hillsborough County intends to award a sole-source procurement to Source 1 Solutions, Inc. for turnkey installation of Verizon-compatible eFemto small-cell systems at multiple County facilities. The scope includes hardware procurement, site surveys, engineering and project management, RF coaxial cabling, passive distributed antenna system components, configuration, installation, testing, commissioning, closeout data collection, and potential 24/365 network operations support. The systems are intended to improve Verizon indoor cellular coverage and capacity for voice, data, and messaging. The notice is not a request for competitive proposals or bids. Interested contractors may submit clear and convincing information challenging the intended sole-source award and demonstrating that they can independently provide the complete scope under a single point of accountability without subcontracting critical installation or support work. The stated project cost is $47,730.55, although the attached quotes identify multiple facility-specific totals and the County reserves the right to adjust the scope and award amount.
