The California Department of General Services, Facilities Management Division, is soliciting bids for grease trap and sewer lift station maintenance and repairs at the Department of Education Building 049. The three-year service includes quarterly, semiannual, and annual preventive maintenance; pumping, cleaning, transportation, and disposal of hazardous waste; equipment inspections; foreseeable and unforeseeable repairs; emergency response; parts replacement; and up to 24 hours of technical support per 12-month period. The contractor must provide labor, equipment, materials, qualified technicians, hazardous-waste transportation and disposal compliance, required documentation, and applicable regulatory compliance. Bidders must submit the required bid package, current proof of general liability, commercial automobile, workers’ compensation, and pollution liability coverage, at least three similar references from the previous five years, and a minimum 3% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise participation commitment. The contract is subject to prevailing-wage requirements if applicable.
