Description
The California Department of Parks and Recreation, North Coast Redwoods District, is soliciting bids for on-call septic tank and vault pumping services at multiple locations within Humboldt Redwoods State Park and Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment to pump tanks and vaults to the bottom, remove debris, clean and disinfect spills, haul and dispose of sewage, and perform emergency pumpings. Standard pumping must occur within two weeks of request, while emergency pumping must occur within two hours. The contractor must be based in Humboldt or Mendocino County and maintain all required septic-pumping, hauling, disposal, licenses, and permits. The anticipated contract term is May 3, 2027, or upon Department of General Services approval, whichever is later, through May 2, 2030, or three years after that approval, whichever is later.
