Description
The California Department of Parks and Recreation is soliciting a contractor to furnish and maintain portable fiberglass chemical toilet units at Empire Mine State Historic Park, South Yuba River State Park, and Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park in Nevada County. The scope includes providing labor, materials, equipment, transportation, toilet units, accessible units, handwashing stations, and as-needed units in accordance with the service schedule. Regular service includes pumping toilets, adding fresh biodegradable odor-controlling chemicals, thoroughly cleaning interiors and exteriors, replenishing toilet tissue and seat covers, repairing damaged facilities, maintaining units in top condition, and preventing spills. The contract is estimated to run from January 4, 2027, through January 3, 2030, or for three years after contract execution, subject to approval. Pollution liability, general liability, motor vehicle liability, workers’ compensation, and employer’s liability insurance are required under the sample agreement terms.
