Description
The George Washington Regional Commission is seeking a qualified contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, inspections, and related services to replace a conventional 450-gallon-per-day septic system with an Alternative Onsite Sewage System (AOSS) for a three-bedroom residential home. The scope includes installation of an AdvanTex AR-RT treatment system, MVP simplex control panel, C1 cistern pump, geotextile sand filter, drainfield protection, septic tank pump-outs, tree removal and site clearing as needed, plumbing and electrical work, abandonment of the existing system, erosion and sediment control, restoration, and required health-department and operating permits. The contractor must hold the required Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation license, including a Class A or B contractor's license with the applicable ADS/CDS/WW specialty, provide proof of insurance, obtain required inspections and approvals, and provide a minimum one-year labor warranty in addition to manufacturer warranties. Responses must include the completed quote form, safety certification form, and proof of DPOR licensure; award will be based on the lowest responsive and responsible total base quote.
