Description
Banks County is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and related services necessary to construct and finish the interior of Fire/EMS Station 33. The work must comply with the architectural plans, specifications, applicable codes, manufacturer requirements, and resulting contract documents. Permits will be supplied by the owner, and bidders must provide a detailed, itemized pricing breakdown and total proposed contract amount. Bidders must demonstrate appropriate experience, licensing, qualifications, resources, and product-installation authorization, and must provide three references for comparable previous work. The selected contractor is expected to complete the project within 90 calendar days after receipt of the order. Each bid must include a five-percent proposal guaranty in the form of a bond, certified check, or negotiable instrument, as well as an insurance-company letter of intent. Required insurance includes workers' compensation coverage as required by Georgia law and commercial general liability coverage in the amounts required by the resulting contract.
