Description
The School District of Springfield R-12 is soliciting firm fixed pricing for as-needed routine and emergency towing services for passenger vehicles, large vehicles, small buses, and large buses, plus roadside assistance to unlock fleet vehicles. Pricing must include dispatch, preparation, and towing costs. The contractor must respond within one hour after notification, provide required towing records and monthly invoices, comply with applicable licensing and vehicle requirements, identify tow vehicles and uniformed employees, and perform authorized cleanup of vehicle debris and minor spills. Services may occasionally involve vehicle pickups outside Springfield city limits. The contract begins on the date of award for one year, with two additional one-year renewal options. Bidders must provide company information, organizational references, workforce size, local-government experience, equipment, a detailed service description, subcontractor information, business hours, emergency-call procedures, a company website, contact information, an emergency-plan acknowledgment, hygiene-protocol acknowledgment, disclosure information, and firm pricing for routine and emergency service categories. Required uploaded forms include the District's Substitute W-9 Plus and a signed and notarized Federal Work Authorization Program Affidavit, accompanied by the required E-Verify electronic signature page. Insurance requirements include general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, employers' liability, and applicable professional and cyber liability coverage.
