Description
Fort Pierce Utilities Authority is soliciting a contractor to construct and install a new 28 MVA, 69/13.8 kV transformer and feeder bay at its Totten Road Substation. The owner will furnish the major substation equipment, while the contractor will provide project management, supervision, labor, construction equipment, materials, rigging, installation, testing, commissioning, and related services. The scope includes site preparation and civil work; structural steel; drilled-pier foundations; grounding and underground conduit/raceway; installation of a 69 kV disconnect switch, 69 kV gas circuit breaker, transformer, four 13.2 kV feeder breakers, six 13.2 kV regulators, bus work, protection and control wiring, relay panels, SCADA interfaces, testing, energization support, quality control, as-built drawings, and closeout documentation. The proposal must include a lump-sum price, variable site-work allowances and unit prices, qualifications and licenses, safety and financial-capacity information, references, insurance evidence, a workmanship guarantee, and a milestone/timeline payment schedule.
