Description
The Village of Wellington is soliciting a contractor to install a Village-furnished 12,000-gallon aboveground steel diesel fuel storage tank for a standby generator. The system includes secondary containment by concrete encasement and all appurtenances required for a complete installation. The work also includes removing the existing failed 12,000-gallon ConVault tank and legally disposing of all demolished materials off-site. The Village will drain the existing diesel fuel before removal; the contractor must coordinate this effort, provide at least 48 hours' notice before demolition, furnish all required equipment and dumpsters, and ensure demolition does not interfere with deliveries or plant operations. The existing foundation is not intended to be relocated or broken.
