Description
The Town of Ocean City is soliciting proposals for fireproofing the Ocean City Beach Patrol Headquarters Garage at 109 Talbot Street. The work includes furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, and services to frame around structural steel and install, finish, and paint 5/8-inch fire-resistant Type-X drywall. The contractor must also remove and reinstall hanging ceiling utilities, apply fire-resistant caulk at ceiling penetrations and drywall-to-ceiling joints, apply three coats to newly installed drywall areas, clean up, and close out the project. The contractor must be licensed in Ocean City and Maryland, provide proof of insurance, comply with worksite safety and accessibility requirements, and provide a one-year warranty from acceptance. Work is scheduled for weekdays between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, with anticipated performance from December 1, 2026, through January 15, 2027. The proposal package requires a cover letter, price proposal, references, addendum acknowledgment, principal information, qualification affidavit, non-collusive affidavit, signed addenda if applicable, completed proposal document, and technical proposal.
