Description
Teton County is soliciting sealed bids for a lump-sum construction installation at its active Trash Transfer Station food-waste facility. The work includes substrate preparation and installation of closed-cell polyurethane spray foam at opaque exterior wall cavities—4 inches with an R-29.6 minimum—and opaque roof cavities—8 inches minimum with an R-56 minimum—of an approximately 4,800-square-foot pre-engineered metal building. The contractor must provide continuous air sealing and vapor control, seal gaps and penetrations, protect existing translucent wall panels and facility equipment, coordinate shutdowns and restricted access, and maintain safe operations during construction. The scope also includes mobilization, containment, masking and overspray protection, environmental controls, quality-control testing and thickness records, manufacturer-trained applicators, product and safety documentation, warranties, photographs, and closeout records. Bids must include the completed bid form, 5% bid security, addenda acknowledgment, subcontractor information, any claimed Wyoming resident-contractor preference documentation, a proposed project schedule, relevant spray-foam and metal-building experience, qualifications, and any exceptions. Performance and payment bonds and insurance are required from the successful bidder before contract execution.
