Description
The City of Cochran, through Cochran Municipal Airport, is soliciting a contractor to remove and lawfully dispose of existing fiberglass insulation from approximately 8,000 square feet of main-hangar ceiling, then install at least two inches of closed-cell spray polyurethane foam. The work includes sealing gaps at wall-sheeting and roof-rafter interfaces, extending foam down the wall where needed, applying a compatible durable white coating after curing, protecting aircraft and facility contents, and completing cleanup and debris removal. Bidders must provide proposed foam and coating product information, technical data and safety data sheets, code-compliance and protective-system information, a proposed schedule, exclusions or alternates, subcontractor information, Georgia license information if applicable, insurance evidence if required, and at least three comparable project references. The bid form requires lump-sum pricing for mobilization, insulation removal, foam installation, gap sealing, coating, cleanup, and any alternate work. Work must be coordinated around active aircraft storage and completed within 60 calendar days after contract award.
