Description
The City of New York Department of Design and Construction, Division of Infrastructure, is soliciting a competitive sealed bid for reconstruction of existing sewers in North Queens. The work includes installation of extra-strength vitrified clay pipe and reinforced concrete pipe on concrete cradles; construction and modification of manholes, catch basins, basin connections, and house connections; sewer television inspection and digital audiovisual recording; excavation, sheeting, bracing, pumping, dewatering, backfilling, traffic protection, and restoration of roadways, sidewalks, curbs, and other affected areas. The bid schedule also includes water-main and service-line work, hydrants, valves, utility coordination, tree removal and planting, erosion and stormwater-related work, sinkhole stabilization, rodent and waterbug control, and related infrastructure work. The procurement is subject to Special Experience Requirements and is being conducted through PASSPort. Bids must be submitted through PASSPort, with bid security handled as specified in the solicitation.
