Description
The City of Pomona is seeking a contractor for professional printing and bulk mail preparation services for its quarterly Recreation Guide. The contractor must furnish labor, equipment, and materials; receive print-ready files; provide a complete printed proof for approval; print, fold, gather, and saddle-stitch guides; prepare approximately 25,000 copies for USPS delivery to City-approved residents; and hand-deliver approximately 2,000 copies to Palomares Park Senior Center. The contractor must comply with USPS requirements, use an approved USPS indicia, protect City-provided mailing data, provide postal documentation, and correct contractor-caused errors or defects at no additional cost. The initial work covers three issues from Summer 2027 through Spring 2028, with the option for up to four additional one-year extensions. Proposals must address production workflow, proofing and quality control, staffing, equipment and capacity, contingency planning, schedules, comparable printing and direct-mail experience, and at least three municipal references. A separate pricing file using Attachment E is required for 24-, 28-, and 32-page guide configurations, including printing, finishing, mail preparation, USPS delivery, City delivery, additional services, and revisions.
