Description
Cobb County is soliciting bids for emergency cleaning and sanitizing services at various county locations on an as-needed basis. The scope includes sewer backup and other natural or man-induced condition cleanup; trash and debris removal; wet vacuuming and extraction of carpet and hard-surface floors; disinfecting and deodorizing; cleaning fixtures, furniture, walls, and other affected surfaces; pressure washing; and microbial treatment. The contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, chemicals, transportation, disposal, and related services, including wet vacuums suitable for biohazard waste and self-contained pressure washers. The bid schedule includes hourly labor rates, equipment rates, disposal and dumpster charges, microbial treatment, crawl-space moisture protection, a sewer cleanout box, and a materials markup. The contractor must be able to respond to job sites within Cobb County within two hours of notification, have at least two years of business experience, provide three references, and designate a project manager. The initial contract term is 24 months, with three one-year renewal options, for a maximum duration of five years. Required insurance includes commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, employer’s liability, umbrella liability, and conditional pollution, professional, cyber, sexual-abuse/molestation, and builder’s-risk coverage as applicable.
