Description
The City of Leander is soliciting applications from qualified nonprofit organizations for its Fiscal Year 2027 Community Resource Grant Program. The program provides competitive funding for services that primarily benefit Leander residents and address documented community needs, including utility, food, rent, mortgage, clothing, homeless, transitional housing, home safety, fall-prevention, hoarding-mitigation, mental-health, medical-access, social-isolation, workforce-development, job-training, and financial-literacy programs. Applicants must demonstrate measurable outcomes, collect and report performance data, and identify the residents and ZIP Codes expected to be served. Total funding available is $100,000, with multiple awards anticipated, a one-year grant period, no required matching funds, and award amounts determined by available funding and demonstrated need. Required submission materials include the completed grant application, IRS determination letter, most recent Form 990, current operating budget, recent financial statements, board list, W-9, certificate of insurance naming the City as certificate holder, completed grant budget template, and completed conflict-of-interest policy and disclosure statements. Applications must be completed through the City's CivicPlus Portal and uploaded to Euna Solutions as the completed application PDF and one file containing supporting documents. Awardees must execute a grant agreement and provide financial and performance reports.
