Description
The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is seeking proposals for onsite mail room, copy center, and warehouse logistics services for the Earth Resources Observation and Science Center (EROS) located near Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) set aside for Women-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB). The services required include mailroom management, packaging, receipt, data logging, distribution of mail, print request fulfillment, document reproduction and finishing, document shredding, and material packaging and handling. The contract will have a base period of performance from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2027, with four 12-month option periods through August 31, 2031. Key activities involve managing incoming and outgoing mail and packages via USPS, FedEx, and UPS, operating a copy center for reproduction and finishing services, and providing warehouse logistics for receiving, storing, and shipping materials. The contractor will also be responsible for document shredding and maintaining inventory logs. Security and personnel suitability requirements, including potential background checks and the issuance of DOI Access Cards, are detailed in the solicitation.
