Description
This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole source purchase order to Heiman Fire Equipment for specialized firefighting equipment. The equipment includes a Yanmar slip-in unit with a 288-gallon polypropylene tank (51in width, 54in length, 31in height) and a Waterax Versax 9HP pump with electric start. The pump will be positioned behind the tank and must be capable of drafting with a 1 1/2 inch hose, and have connections for a 1-inch hard line with 100ft of hose on a reel attached to the top of the tank. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 333914, with a size standard of 750 employees. The Federal Supply Code (FSC) / Product Service Code (PSC) is 3695. This purchase will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b).
