Description
The U.S. Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide sports officials and scorers/timers for intramural basketball, flag football, volleyball, softball, and soccer at Dyess Air Force Base. The contractor must provide the required personnel for each contest, including certified referees, umpires, line referees, linespersons, scorers, and timers; manage scheduling and staffing; maintain scorebooks and score sheets; enforce applicable sport governing-body rules and local bylaws; handle equipment pickup and return; and report protests, ejections, and cancellations. Each official or referee must hold the applicable certification for the sport, including NIRSA for flag football, NCAA for basketball, USAV for volleyball, USA for softball, and FIFA for soccer. The technical submission must include a plan addressing personnel qualifications and certifications, certification verification and maintenance, management, staffing, scheduling, on-site operations, government-furnished property accountability, and contract-manager support. The price submission must cover a base year and four option years, with an estimated 40 contests each for basketball, flag football, volleyball, and softball and 30 contests for soccer per period.
