Douglas County is soliciting sealed bids for construction work to replace water meter MXU units that have reached the end of their useful life. The engineer's estimate is $475,000, and prevailing wage requirements apply because the project exceeds $100,000. A bid bond of at least 5% of the bid amount is required. Bid documents are available electronically through Quest Construction Data Network under project number 10323196. A pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but not mandatory, and questions must be submitted by September 24, 2026, for consideration by addendum.
