General Scope of Work: Construction of pedestrian improvements along approximately 1,200 linear feet of Sidehill Drive. Work includes mobilization and demobilization; construction traffic control; removal of existing composite pavement, asphalt concrete dike, Portland cement concrete pavement, and drop inlet; and construction of PCC sidewalk, Type 1 PCC curb and gutter, PCC driveways and driveway conforms, a pedestrian ramp, and a cast-in-place Type 4R catch basin. Additional work includes adjusting manholes to finished grade, constructing HMA driveway conforms, performing contingent permanent pavement patching, and completing all associated grading, restoration, and incidental work. Bid Alternate 1 includes additional removals, drainage improvements, curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveway, and HMA conform work. All improvements shall be constructed in accordance with the Contract Documents, Plans, and Specifications. This project is funded with federal Community Development Block Grant funds and is subject to federal labor Standards which includes Davis-Bacon wage rates, BABA requirements, and Section 3 requirements.
