Description
North Tahoe Public Utility District is soliciting sealed bids for the lump-sum rehabilitation of two sewage pump stations. The work includes electrical improvements; replacement and installation of pumps, valves, and blowers; sewage bypass pumping and wastewater management planning; internal and miscellaneous coatings; structural upgrades; bypass vault installation; civil site work; Caltrans right-of-way improvements; arc-flash studies; electrical testing and commissioning; and restoration of disturbed areas. The project requires a Class A General Engineering Contractor or Class C-10 Electrical Contractor. A Class C-10 prime contractor must self-perform at least 51% of the work. Bidders must submit the District's bid forms, bid security, subcontractor information, non-collusion declaration, Iran Contracting Act certification, fleet compliance certification, public works contractor registration certification, workers' compensation certification, and bidder information and experience materials. The successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment bonds, insurance certificates, and complete the work no later than October 15, 2027.
