Description
The City of Reno is soliciting bids for the Booth Street Siphon Rehabilitation Project, Contract No. I400118-C, PWP WA-2026-482. The work includes installing 24-inch gravity sewer mains, a downstream siphon access vault, two Type V sanitary sewer manholes, a new upstream 72-inch sanitary sewer manhole, a 12-inch HDPE downstream siphon tie-in, modifications to the existing Booth Street Siphon, electrical conduit and equipment, bypass pumping, dewatering, utility protection, traffic control, testing, and related appurtenances. Surface restoration includes temporary and permanent asphalt patching, grinding and overlay, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, ADA pedestrian ramps, pavement markings, landscaping, and other restoration. The project is federally funded and subject to Nevada and Davis-Bacon prevailing-wage requirements, apprenticeship requirements, American Iron and Steel requirements, and applicable federal certifications. The estimated bid value is $1.6 million to $1.8 million, with a 120-working-day contract and an anticipated start date of October 26, 2026. A 5% bid bond is required, along with 100% performance and payment bonds after award.
