The Army National Guard intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price delivery/task order to Dark Wolf Ventures LLC for the Dark Wolf Howler Deployment Kit and associated accessories. The requirement also includes the Dark Wolf Satellite Backhaul System where required, the Dark Wolf Ventures ATAK plug-in, activation files, training, and technical support. The justification states that the system must bridge voice and data from an embedded device between land-mobile-radio and satellite-radio systems in a single field-deployable kit, support continuous communications with mission partners, and enable command and control during large-scale training events. Dark Wolf Ventures is identified as the only responsible source because of its proprietary and patented technology. The estimated price is $424,449.80, and the justification states that this is a new contract with no follow-on contract required.
