The United States Space Force Commercial Satellite Communications Office is providing an industry forecast for six potential fiscal year 2026–2027 acquisitions; no response or feedback is requested. The forecast covers transponded Ku-band capacity, managed satellite communications services for global airborne intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance operations, Iridium-certified equipment and products with provisioning and 24/7/365 helpdesk support, global government enterprise communications services and facilities architecture, maneuverable geosynchronous-orbit satellite-based services, and Ku-band spread-spectrum network subscriptions with terrestrial backhaul. The anticipated requirements have estimated lifecycle values ranging from $2 million to $900 million. Several are structured as one-year base periods with two to five option periods; the maneuverable geosynchronous-orbit requirement is described as a five-year base with five one-year options. The forecast identifies existing incumbent contracts for five requirements and anticipates future RFI, RFQ, or RFP releases between September and December 2026, with anticipated awards between November 2026 and April 2027.
