Description
The City of Marlborough is soliciting proposals from qualified telecommunications providers for one or more non-exclusive leases of antenna, equipment, ground, and related space at the City-owned Sligo Hill Historical Water Tank. Proposals may cover continued use of existing facilities or new wireless communications facilities, subject to available capacity, compatibility with existing users and City operations, structural feasibility, interference requirements, permits, and approvals. The minimum first-year annual rent is $66,000, with annual increases of 3%. The initial lease term is five years, with up to three additional five-year renewal terms. Proposers must submit a facility and site description, proposed rent, plans or supporting information, municipal/public-safety accommodation details, references, required certifications and disclosures, any applicable FCC authorization, and a 5% proposal deposit in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, bank check, or certified check. The selected proposer will be responsible for applicable approvals, utilities, insurance, and other lease obligations.
