Description
The State of Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, through the State of Utah Division of Purchasing, is soliciting a contractor to aerially seed approximately 1,336 acres on Forest Service land in San Juan County, Utah. The contractor must furnish labor, aircraft, equipment, supplies, and materials; obtain government-furnished seed from the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources Seed Warehouse in Ephraim, transport it to an airport of the contractor's choice, load it into the aircraft, and apply the specified seed mix at approximately 7.95 pounds per acre, subject to availability changes. The aircraft must use GPS to establish flight lines providing 100% coverage, and the contractor must provide GIS coverage files after treatment. The work must be completed between September 28 and October 18, 2026, generally beginning by 8:00 a.m. and subject to weather restrictions. The contractor is also responsible for radio communications, protection and return of unused seed, cleanup and lawful disposal, restoration of damaged access roads, quality control, and final inspection coordination. Subcontracting is permitted only with prior written State approval. Award is anticipated to a single lowest-cost responsive and responsible bidder.
