Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service requires six units of 2-inch HDPE bird netting to cover six existing triangular pens and contain captive ravens or similarly sized birds. The contractor must furnish all netting, galvanized cable, net-rings, materials, equipment, labor, transportation, and installation. The netting must be UV-stabilized, knotted polyethylene that is flame-resistant, rot-proof, non-conductive, stable in sub-zero temperatures, and capable of withstanding anticipated snow loads. The specified performance includes a 10-year warranty against manufacturer defects and UV breakdown. The quotation must include pricing for bird netting and shipping, product make and model, delivery lead time, and confirmation that the proposed items and services meet the Statement of Work. The response must also include a cover page, completed pricing schedule, technical compliance information, and past-performance information for at least three recent and relevant bird-netting projects performed within the last three years. The acquisition is a total small-business set-aside, and the contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management before submitting a quotation.
