Description
The Jordan Basin Improvement District is soliciting bids from contractors prequalified for its Multiple Mountain View Corridor Sewer Projects. The work includes approximately 10-inch and 18-inch PVC gravity sanitary sewer installation, a trenchless crossing beneath State Route 85 using a 36-inch steel casing and carrier pipe, launch, retrieval, and intermediate shafts, new 60-inch lined sanitary sewer manholes, connections to and abandonment or removal of existing sewer infrastructure, and sewer bypass pumping. The project also includes excavation, shoring, backfilling and compaction, traffic control within the Utah Department of Transportation right-of-way, instrumentation and monitoring, stormwater pollution prevention, pavement, curb, gutter, sidewalk, striping, landscaping and other surface restoration. The bid package requires completion of the online Schedule of Prices and submission of the Information Required of Bidder, Bid, Bid Schedule and Bid Bond. The Information Required of Bidder requires notarization, two similar completed projects within the last five years, OSHA records, subcontractor information, and detailed tunnel/bore qualifications; the tunnel/bore contractor must demonstrate at least 1,500 linear feet of experience in the last 10 years and four similar projects in the last two years.
