Description
The City of American Fork is soliciting bids for repairs to failed or cracked waterstop joints at the Upper PI Pond in the American Fork City pressure irrigation system. Work includes mobilization; concrete demolition, sawcutting, removal, transport, and disposal; installation of waterstop concrete patches with drilling, rebar, epoxy, ties, spacers, concrete, and testing; and sealing existing waterstop joints with elastomeric joint material. The contractor must provide all labor and materials, maintain required traffic and public-safety controls, obtain applicable permits and licenses, and comply with the project drawings, specifications, and American Fork City and APWA standards. The bid package includes a bid form, bid schedule, contractor qualification form, bid bond, insurance documentation, Utah contractor license, superintendent experience resume, financial statement, references, and three recent similar projects. A five percent bid bond is required, and performance and payment bonds each equal to 100 percent of the contract price are required after award. Substantial completion is required by December 3, 2026, with all work completed by December 17, 2026.
