Description
Provo City School District is seeking proposals for elementary and secondary social studies curricula serving grades 4–12, including Utah Studies, United States history, geography, world history, government, and citizenship. Offerings may cover broad or narrow grade spans and must provide current, research-based materials aligned with Utah Social Studies standards and applicable state law and student-data privacy requirements. The district is seeking print, digital, and online instructional materials, editable teacher resources, primary and secondary sources, differentiated and accessible learning supports, inquiry- and project-based instructional approaches, pacing guides, customizable assessments, and resources that develop disciplinary literacy and informed citizenship. The selected contractor must provide initial and ongoing training and support, including on-site and digital support and access to physical and digital professional-development materials for summer teacher training. Proposals must include separate technical and cost proposals, with a detailed point-by-point response to the requirements. Materials must be available through the Mountain State Schoolbook Depository, and pricing must be guaranteed for the contract term. The district anticipates a single award; the initial contract term is expected to be two to three years, with one-year renewals permitted up to a total contract period of seven years.
