LAKE POINT IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT WASTEWATER AERATION EXPANSION PROJECT INVITATION TO BID Separate sealed bids for the Lake Point Improvement District will be received by Ward Engineering Group located at 231 West 800 South, Suite A, Salt Lake City, UT 84101; until 3:00 p.m. on October 20, 2026. Bidding Documents will be available beginning at 10:00 a.m. on September 22, 2026. Contact Brendan Thorpe at bthorpe@wardeg.com to request an electronic copy of the bidding documents. This project consists of installing 12 surface-mounted aeration units within the District's existing primary aerated sewer lagoon, as well as associated power source upgrades, electrical and controls systems and cabinets in the control building, and site power feeds and control panels along the lagoon embankment. Bid Security in the amount of 5% shall accompany each bid. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will commence at the LDS Church parking lot located on 2005 Sunset Lane, Lake Point, UT, 84074; at 3:00 p.m. October 6, 2026. The District reserves the right to reject all bids and rebid the project, and/or make reductions in, or expand the scope of work as needed. Description
Lake Point Improvement District is soliciting bids for expansion of its wastewater treatment aeration system. The project includes installing 12 surface-mounted aeration units within the District’s existing primary aerated sewer lagoon, along with associated power-source upgrades, electrical and controls systems, control cabinets, site power feeds, and control panels along the lagoon embankment. A 5% bid security must accompany each bid. The solicitation includes a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and permits the District to reject all bids, rebid the project, or modify the scope as needed.
