Description
Salt Lake City Corporation is soliciting proposals for consulting services to lead stakeholder and public engagement supporting the Salt Lake City Department of Public Utilities' Watershed Management Plan update. The selected consultant will develop and implement an engagement strategy; manage stakeholder distribution lists; create a project website, social media campaign, outreach materials, and a public opinion and awareness survey; organize and facilitate multiple in-person or virtual open houses, community council meetings, stakeholder meetings, and Technical Advisory Committee outreach; and compile, summarize, and report public input and outreach activities. The consultant will coordinate with the City's technical and public-outreach contractors, comply with City communications, accessibility, and branding standards, and meet in person with project staff approximately every other week during the planning and outreach process. Proposals must address mandatory ethics, five years of relevant experience, and GenAI-use requirements, as well as qualifications, project understanding and approach, schedule, quality assurance/quality control, office location and project manager, innovative services, and policy criteria. The contract term is five years. The solicitation uses a technical evaluation threshold before cost evaluation, and the completed cost sheet must provide an offered not-to-exceed project price and itemized work-item costs.
